So I haven’t posted on my blog for a while – mainly because I have been so busy making some super cute Boola Bears, Lions and Bunnies. I set up ‘Boola Made’ because I love being creative. I am not aiming to make money on it, I just love making and sharing my products! After setting up my website, facebook page, Instagram account and designing business cards I can now get back into blogging.
For my first post back I thought I would just update you all on what I have been up to! As explained above I have been a busy bee creating ‘Boola Made’. I am so proud of the items I have made so far and can not wait to introduce new products. I have plenty of ideas and can not wait to share them all with you.
I have started using my bullet journal again which keeps me super organised. I will be blogging about my bullet journal soon as I think everyone needs to know about this unique way of organising! You can customise each page and keep track of events, tasks and important info. It is like have three different journals in one!
I am currently working on two new sewing projects. The first is a tartan skirt which is cut and ready to be sewed together. The second project is a lot more challenging, I am attending my cousins wedding in May and have decided to make my own dress!! (I may regret this decision). I have 3 weeks until the big day so will be starting this little challenge at the weekend, luckily its a bank holiday so an extra day of sewing for me! I will be posting progress pictures on my instagram of each project, so why not give my account @boolamade a follow. Once each project is complete I will be writing a post about how I got on – so keep an eye out.
Me and my other half (Ryan) are getting closer to buying our first house together. Its so hard trying to save money but we are getting there. By the end of the year we hope to have a house or at least be in the process of buying one. I am already researching interior design ideas and can not wait to have a sewing room set up!
I am also working on my PEDR logbooks for the final stage of studying to become and Architect. Since my last post I have actually graduated my part 2 and I am now a Master of Architecture! It was so tough, but I got there in the end.
My blog is mainly about my creative goings on, but I add a few personal posts here and there to let you know what I am up to. I will be aiming (as before) to write two posts a week.
I just hope I keep it up!!
